Questions students ask
- Does the AI write my thesis for me?
- No. It continues your own sentences, rewrites passages you select, and answers questions about your sources. It can't invent references. Check your university's policy on AI use.
- Which institutions are supported?
- All 320 institutions on the GTEC register: universities, technical universities, colleges of education, nursing and health colleges and more. UG, KNUST, UCC and UPSA have dedicated templates; everyone else starts from a standard thesis format under their own institution's name, and every setting can be changed to match your handbook.
- Does it check for plagiarism?
- Yes. The originality check compares each chapter with the PDFs in your library and with abstracts of over 250 million published works, highlights matching passages and lets you add the missing citation in one click. It can't see paywalled full texts or other students' work, so your university's official check (such as Turnitin) still applies.
- Will my thesis be flagged as AI-written?
- ThesisCraft records every AI suggestion you accept, so the AI use and authorship report shows exactly how much of your text began with AI, flags leftover chatbot text and stock phrases, and drafts an AI-use declaration for your front matter. Your day-by-day writing history is evidence that the work is yours if a detector ever questions it.

- Writing, citations, the structure check and a daily AI allowance are free. The formatted Word file and much larger AI allowances come with a 30-day pass: Student GHS 39 or Faculty GHS 79, paid with MoMo or card. Passes never renew automatically; buy another when you need more time.
- Do I need internet all the time?
- No. Work saves on your device as you type and syncs when you're back online. AI features need a connection.
- Who can see my work?
- Only you. You own everything you write, and your drafts and PDFs are stored privately. Payments are processed by Paystack. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what we store and who processes it.
